OPEN- Welcome to Purrfect Day Cafe, the top cat-adopting cafe in the country! We’re pawsitively thrilled to have a team that shares our Purrpose and embraces a mission-before-me mentality. Our diverse and caring crew is what makes the Purrfect experience for our feline furriends and the community. Joining us means you’ll be making a real impact, both in your community and within yourself, knowing you’re helping to save over 3,000 kitties each year and growing!
- We are always on the lookout for team members who fit our culture, ensuring a pawsitive work environment where everyone can thrive and further our mission. If you’re interested in joining our team when we have openings, sign up, and we’ll reach out when the time is right.
- What we’re looking for:
- Flexible schedule: Our shifts are from 9-3 or 3-10, and weekends are a must. We ideally need availability for 3-4 shifts per week, depending on the season. This isn’t a seasonal gig; we’re looking for long-term impact. Ideally, we LOVE open availability.
- Bubbly factor: Our team is what makes the experience, second only to the kitties. We need team members who are spokespeople for our mission, with welcoming and nurturing personalities.
- Team atmosphere: We call it position-less care. Everyone is involved in all aspects of the mission, and no one is above cleaning the litter boxes, including the owner. Working as a team is essential for the busiest cat cafe in the country.
- Impact beyond attendance: Everyone has a skill or talent, and if team members are invested beyond just clocking in, our experience becomes way more interesting. If you have experience in restaurant, hospitality, event planning, marketing, social media, or just being a gracious host, we want your talent to shine in our impact. We look for those who want to advance.
- Mission before me: What brings us together is our love of kitties and community, but what binds us is our shared commitment to making a difference. There’s no better reward than knowing you’re helping to save over 3,000 kitties each year and growing!
- *Candidates must be 18 years of age to serve, able to lift 50lbs, and the more availability the better. We post a “now hiring” banner when openings come up otherwise applications are saved and called later if you are Purrfect for the cafe.
