Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends, holidays, and in the summer.

Find a stray kitty? Purrfect Day Cafe does not take in kitties directly through the cafe. For all kitty surrenders, please contact KHS.

Welcome to Purrfect Day Café, the best place in town where you can mix and mingle with Louisville’s most eligible adoptees, all while sipping your favorite coffee or cocktail! We’re Louisville’s most unique café, and we’re paw-sitive you’re going to love us!

Whether or not you’re in the market for a new feline friend, Purrfect Day Café is a must-see destination! You can drop by any time to enjoy Louisville’s coolest coffee, wine, beer and spirits bar at our location in the Highlands on Bardstown Road, but if you want the full kitty experience, it’s as simple as booking a visit online! You have the option to come early for a drink, or to stay late for an adoption, but what’s not optional is a lot of kitty love in between!

WE’VE REACHED 10,000 ADOPTIONS

The Purrfect Day Cafe, along with our amazing partners at the Kentucky Humane Society, are excited to announce that we have reached 10,000 adoptions! None of this would be possible without our partners at the KHS, our team including our amazing volunteers, and the amazing community surrounding us. So, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We look forward to continuing to place kitties in the purrfect homes!

Purrfectly fun!

We had a wonderful time! The drinks and treats are delicious, atmosphere is clean and cute (Instagram worthy backgrounds)! Most importantly the cats are precious! Would highly recommend for a date, or a fun activity with your kids!

Went here for my birthday – LOVED it! The cats were so sweet and the staff was so awesome & helpful. I like that they have a punch card so your 9th visit can be free! 😄

The Purrfect way to end our day

Great drinks. The people were very friendly and the place was clean. We had about 12 cats to pet and cuddle. All ages, shapes, and colors to choose from. We weren’t even looking to adopt, just wanted to play. Go check them out.

Our New Favorite Date Night Location!

If you need a boost of serotonin, this is the place for you!! My fiancé and I went for the monthly puppy event, and our hearts were so full! Even though we didn’t sign up to hang out with the kitties, they were in a room we could see into, so we still got to see them being silly from afar!

Enjoyed kitty play time

This was an absolute joy! We were present for a full session and there was plenty of space and available kitties for everyone to enjoy. The time frame is perfect to feel complete in your experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. My 3 y/o had a ball!

Such a fun experience…and quite relaxing too

Dear cat lovers, this was such a fun time…we just loved hanging out with all the adorable kittens…we couldn’t get enough…they were so sweet and loving. Everywhere I looked I would spot one hiding somewhere. My boys were enthralled, they played with all of them. Carrots was their favorite…it was also amazing seeing some get adopted. We also ordered some drinks, the boys enjoyed them a lot.

This was a great way to spend the afternoon! The staff, was fantastic, and the drinks were yummy too. Awesome way to help give kitties a forever home.

Ideal place for a purrfect date

Very welcoming and cute spot to enjoy the company of family, friends, and kittens 😊. My boyfriend and I had a really nice experience. We highly recomend it.

Cute kitties and great coffee

Amazing experience!!! You have to RSVP to have time with the cats but the cafe part is open to everyone. The cats are so cute and the staff are very professional. The area with the cats was also very clean. You can also adopt the cats through the Kentucky Humane Society so that’s nice as well.

Kittens!

Had a visit to the kitten room this morning. So much funs as always. Then, my friend and I got snacks and a drink and spent time in the upstairs seating area. Our treats were tasty and we had the space to ourselves. A great place to hang out!

Amazing place with adorable cats!

This is such a great place, I had an amazing time! Definitely book in advance, because the kitten room is usually booked up. Lots of drinks non-alcoholic and alcoholic to choose from. You can bring drinks in the room but not food. Lots of goodies to buy too including t-shirts, stickers, tumblers, and more! Adults only after 6 pm.
